Stubborn habits they die hard,
which explains why you won't call
I know I was the one who hurt you first.
But I got scared and I got lost,
couldn't verbalize my thoughts
I know we lasted quite some time but we held on.
Onto things I didn't need,
like the wine glass you made me
I'd sit and drink with heavy thoughts I'd write you songs.
But glass it breaks, and love it fades.
I threw the stem away two days ago.
And clothes they tear, and love it wears.
